PAB Akrapović is a family-run company specializing in developing and manufacturing high-tech protective helmets. It was established in 1953 and has grown considerably over the decades. We employ people with diverse knowledge and skills with a focus on knowledge about protective equipment. The company’s headquarters, R&D, and production facilities are in Buzet, Croatia.
PAB Akrapović has remained a family business since its foundation. Initially the company specialized in developing and producing a variety of plastic and composite products for domestic and industrial use. Our first helmet was launched on the market in 1978. Since then, we have focused on research, development, testing, and production of premium quality protective helmets and helmet accessories for work and rescue in the most extreme conditions.

In addition to strict quality control and compliance with ISO 9001 guidelines, we are also committed to protecting the health and well-being of our employees and ensuring a safe working environment. To this end, we have implemented the requirements of the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems and obtained the ISO 45001:2018 certification.
In the most ethical and responsible manner is also one of our priorities. Our team has a deep understanding of our customers’ demands and constantly strives to fulfil their needs and expectations. In order to better understand the real and practical needs of our customers, we work in close collaboration with the local fire brigade, which provides us with extremely valuable feedback and offers us suggestions for improving our products.
